“Only Fair”

AZANA LAUGHED WICKEDLY as she shoved her husband off the barge.

Darting toward the opposite end, she clutched her sides. Unseen, his hand shot out of the water; seaweed clung to his forehead as he smirked up at her. With a fierce tug and yanked her backwards. Sea water rushed over her.

Gasping on air, she snorted, “What was that for?”

“It’s only fair, my dear,” Alion said in a pedantic tone.

Smiling, he swam one-armed over to her and kissed her. His lips were drench in salt water.
